Roguu draws its essence from the Japanese word “Kutsurogu,” meaning relaxation. This concept resonates deeply with me, not only because of my admiration for Japanese culture but also due to my upbringing in a household where healing traditions were a way of life. Both my parents, Brazilian massage therapists, skillfully blended Brazilian and Japanese techniques, creating a unique approach to wellness. Growing up surrounded by these influences, I learned the profound importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit.
In cities like Kyoto and Osaka, where the art of relaxation is celebrated, I found inspiration to craft Roguu. This concept embodies the dedication to tranquility that I’ve seen both in Japan and within my own family. From the gentle touch of a massage to the soothing warmth of an onsen, the Japanese have mastered the art of holistic well-being—something I’ve been fortunate to experience firsthand.
The symbolism of the Crane in our logo perfectly aligns with Roguu’s philosophy, representing peace, luck, and longevity. It’s a beacon of the serene and transformative experience that Roguu promises, rooted in the healing traditions that have shaped my life.
